Not to be confused with missiles, the Colonial Fleet’s UFT-411 heavy space torpedoes are among the largest self-propelled weapons ever designed by humankind. Measuring over 220 meters in length, each one carries twice the conventional explosive warhead of standard UCMF torpedoes. Its tungsten-tipped hull is covered with even thicker armor, capable of bypassing all point missile defenses, and its four-engine propulsion system provides operational redundancy. A single hit from one of these torpedoes is likely a death sentence for all but the largest capital ships. The UFT-209 is the lightest torpedo-type munition used by the UCMF, but it is nonetheless a formidable weapon. Its somewhat reduced length and mass allow it to be carried aboard smaller ships than one would normally expect to house such devastating potential. These elements greatly contribute to the look and feel of your fleet and are now available with unique designs for each faction. This launcher set is intended for UCM players.
