The Type VII was probably the most famous submarine in the world, as more than 1000 units were built in different versions.

This type is characterized by its particularly harmonious line shape, which looks even more like a ship than that of more modern submarines.
The construction and piloting of submarines have always fascinated modelers.

But many have hesitated to start building such models because of the unsuitability or complexity of the plans.

The hull of the VII submarine consists of two ABS half-shells, a submersible tank, a ballast tank and a deck made of thin deep-drawn material, so that all slots and openings are clearly visible.

The structure of the tower is also composed of several deep-drawn ABS parts.

Thanks to its various parts including the ABS plastic shell, this model is much easier to make.

The basic box allows you to build the model in static version, while the additional kit S02120311 contains all the parts and accessories to prepare the transmission of the static version to the sailing version.

All assembly parts as well as the two barrels are included in the basic construction kit.

The technique: The diving process of this model is semi-dynamic, which means that a pump and a water tank are included in the diving kit, which however only supports dynamic diving (at sustained speed).

What is not included to get a navigation-ready submarine:

a 4-channel radio control,
2 servos to operate the diving and rudder controls
an electronic speed controller for forward and reverse
an electronic variator to empty and fill the dive tank.

Concerning the battery or batteries, the modeler is free to use the configuration he wishes according to the space available inside the compartments and the balance of the submarine.
