TRP05774 1:700 Trumpeter Admiral Graf Spee Pocket Battleship, 1939 #5774

In 1939 the Graf Spee was sent to the Atlantic as a commerce raider, sinking 9 Allied merchant ships. The British Navy finally tracked her down and damaged her in the Battle of the River Plate. Graf Spee fled to Uruguay for repairs, but as forced to leave within 72 hours. Rather than risk the lives of his crew by sailing into awaiting Allied ships just offshore, the captain scuttled the Graf Spee in Montivideo harbor.

This kit consists of 305 parts on 9 sprues plus upper and lower hulls, waterline plate and display stand. Also includes parts for an AR-196 aircraft. Completed kit measures over 10? long.
