A New Orleans class heavy cruiser, she was coincidentally at sea for gunnery practice when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. The Minneapolis immediately took up patrol and participated in the War in the Pacific, disrupting Japanese supply lines and protecting the U.S. fleet in various WWII sea battles. She remained active until 1947. Kit consists of 196 parts on 10 sprues. Additional features: waterline or full hull assembly, 8 inch gun turrets, two SOC seagull planes and display stand with name plate. Markings are for MS21 camouflage, 1942.
