In 1942, German designers started the development of a new series, which would utilize chassis and components of various tanks and use them as mountings for various heavy weapons. Designs of the Grille Series incorporated many new technical modifications in order to mount heavy weapons. This variant was based on the Tiger II Tank, and included a mounted 210mm Mortar and 7.92 machine guns. The mortar was mounted inside the hull to enable it to be dismounted easily at any time.
Kit consists of 592 parts on 15 sprues, including 2 metal springs, photo etched grill mesh, rubber tracks, fully detailed engine compartment and markings for German Army WWII.
