The M1078 was designed in 1991 with the intention of replacing the US Army’s aging transport trucks. It was designed to transport cargo and soldiers. To facilitate
loading/unloading, the bedside rails are mounted on hinges and can be lowered.The cargo bed can be equipped with an optional bench seat kit for transport of soldiers.
Kit consists of 430 parts on 9 sprues plus cab and 5 rubber tires, a photo etched fuel tank mount and markings for the US Army. Additional features include a detailed dashboard, fully detailed drive train assembly and detailed tread pattern on tires. Completed kit measures over 7″ long.
