The Russian Empire placed a high value on armored trains as part of its ground force because their infrastructure at the time did not allow for the mass movement of men and equipment. The PL-37 was a single car equipped with cannons and armament to protect the locomotive and railcars loaded with infantry and armor. It was used in Soviet war battalions in the early part of WW2. Kit consists of over 290 parts and includes five sections of roadbed for display.
