Having just arrived in the peaceful and orderly city of Smier for a well-deserved rest, they find themselves attacked by a notorious local bandit who gained entry with the complicity of a corrupt captain of the guard. The city is pillaged, but the priests have taken refuge within the barricaded cathedral. The adventurers will ultimately be the only ones eligible to clandestinely embark on a quest for Aranel and the jewel, the only way to save the city… Designed for any medieval fantasy role-playing game, this scenario offers numerous tools to adapt it to the rules of your game. Character charts allow you to easily adapt these to your rules. The book offers a description of the city, the main non-player characters, and then the complete adventure, culminating in a good old-fashioned dungeon like those made in the 80s (it was originally published in ’84). Fresh blood that you can play as a one-shot scenario or include in your regular campaign. It takes place on Rope Island, the same universe as The Floating Islands, The Guild of A, or The Lost Relic.
