Known to the general public for having been one of the aircraft in Manfred Von Richthofen’s squadron – the famous Red Baron – the Fokker D VII biplane is one of the most prestigious aircraft of the First World War, among other things for its outstanding performance in aerial duels, with an unequalled maneuverability – for a while – in front of its opponents.

Among the clauses of the 1918 armistice treaty, was the obligation to hand over to the Allies all the Fokker D VIIs deployed in the Jagdgeschwader, the German Air Force squadrons.
