Product description : Petals

Let yourself fly away like petals in the wind! Tile placement / competitive puzzle Age: 8 years / Number of players: 1 to 4 / Duration: 30 min Authors: Thomas Nougaret & Charlec / Illustrator: Mathieu Clochard / Publisher: Biotope Edition About: Flowering is a key moment in the plant cycle: a unique opportunity to establish themselves elsewhere and expand their territory. To this end, the flowers employ an ingenious strategy by enlisting the help of tireless allies: pollinators. Each visit from these insects significantly increases the plants’ chances of success. But this flurry of activity doesn’t go unnoticed and ends up attracting many other animals. Objective: Create as many flowers as possible by assembling tiles as you go to welcome pollinators and score the most points. Learn to take advantage of the presence of other insects that, while not pollinating, still have an impact on your flowerbed. Description: Draw a tile from one of the 5 piles in the middle of the table and place it in front of you. Your flowerbed begins! On your next turn, take another tile and connect it to your flowerbed by placing it next to a petal of the same color (adjacent petals don’t have to match). Once a flower is formed, add a pollinator of the same color to its center and continue, on your next turn, to expand your flowerbed by connecting more petals (tiles). The game ends when a player uses up the second-to-last pile of tiles (the 4th), at which point all players count their points. Petals is a competitive puzzle game. It also offers a cooperative version. Discover the game rules in PDF format. Contents: – 70 tiles – 21 Pollinator tokens: x7 bees / x7 butterflies / x7 beetles – 1 rulebook.
