Naishi: Transport yourself to feudal Japan and become the most renowned character of this empire! Confrontation game / tableau building / hand management Age: 10+ / Number of players: 2 / Duration of a game: 20 min Authors: Mathieu BIERI and Alex FORTINEAU / Illustrator: Marine LOSEKOOT / Publisher: Merle ÉditionsAbout: In feudal Japan, a Naishi was a lady-in-waiting who served at the imperial court. She held an important role and was responsible for various tasks, particularly assisting with ceremonies and rituals. The Naishi were often chosen by the emperor from noble families and had significant influence in circles of power. Description: In Naishi, develop your country by obtaining new structures and influential characters to increase your fame. The law of the Shogun is strict and forbids you from rearranging the cards in your deck. Also, wisely seize the opportunities offered to you and send your envoys to intrigue at the imperial court to place your cards as efficiently as possible and thus control the most prestigious territory in Japan. You have a Hand and a Line made up of 5 cards each. This set represents your territory. You cannot reorganize your cards freely, neither in your Hand nor in your Line. Developing your territory will allow you to replace the cards in your game while respecting their positioning in the River. You can also send your Emissaries to the Imperial Court, which will allow you to perform additional actions. At the end of the game, the cards in your Hand will be revealed and placed under the cards in your Line, respecting their positions. Your territory will thus be made up of a grid of 2×5 cards. You will then add up the points provided by each card, and the player whose total is the highest will win! Discover the rules of the game in pdf.
