The new Honda sport tourer is already available from Tamiya! Honda’s CB series of sport touring motorcycles has a long and proud history paved with innovations; it began with the 1959 Benly CB92 Super Sport, followed by the pioneering 1969 CB750 Four with its inline four-cylinder engine, the CB750F/900F with its four-valve DOHC engine developed for the European market, and the competition-oriented 1981 CB1100R. Fast forward to March 2025, and Honda announces the replacement of the flagship CB1300SF model with the CB1000F Concept. Shortly after, in November of the same year, the CB1000F goes on sale. The CB1000F “Best Balance Roadster” concept was designed to meet a variety of needs, from daily use to long-distance touring. It revives and updates the iconic “Flowing Line” styling popularized on its predecessors, the CB750F/900F, with a shape that flows seamlessly from the tank to the rear, via rear side fairings that give the motorcycle its muscular and sleek silhouette. The round headlight catches the eye with a design that is both modern and traditional, flanked by an LED position light with a chrome bezel and a central section engraved with the HONDA logo. At the rear, the seat surface is inspired by the CB750F, and the eye is drawn to design elements such as the angular taillight and the muffler that dominates the right side of the motorcycle. For some, the abbreviation CB stands for “C” for “motorcycle” and “B” for “clubman,” but for this new version, “C” for “creative” and “B” for “benchmark” apply equally well. Tamiya now offers a faithful and detailed replica of this remarkable and iconic machine. • Model to assemble and paint – 1/24 scale. Length: 178mm, Height: 109mm. • Perfectly reproduced shapes and flowing lines of the CB1000F. • Main sub-assemblies such as engine, front and rear suspension, exhaust silencer, and kickstand attached to the frame with micro-screws. • Chrome parts of the real motorcycle (silencer, headlight, fork tubes, and mirrors) reproduced with metal-coated parts. • Translucent red taillight and transparent parts for the headlight, LCD display, and windscreen. • Realistic reproduction of the inline 4-cylinder engine with lattice-patterned radiator hoses. • One-piece fuel tank and front fender, eliminating assembly seams. • Chain made of two sides, left and right, for added realism. • Drilled brake discs. • Metal rear shock spring and vinyl tubing for the clutch cable and brake lines. • Synthetic rubber front and rear tires with faithful reproduction of the tread pattern. • Realistic reproduction of the texture of The seat. • Headlight fairing option or not, at the assembler’s choice. • Adhesive paint masks for the display screen and the fuel cap. • Four decoration options with matching decals.
