Features
Cold War Aviation Classic
The MiG-21, produced in greater numbers than any other modern jet fighter, earned an unmatched reputation during the Cold War for its simplicity, reliability, and blistering speed. After German reunification in 1990, the Luftwaffe inherited 251 East German MiG-21s, including a small batch of MiG-21SPS aircraft.
MiG-21SPS22+02, nicknamed the“White Shark”, originally flew with East Germany’s LSK as aircraft 441 before receiving its new German markings. Although these aircraft saw limited post-reunification service, they remain historically significant symbols of the Cold War’s end and the merging of two opposing air forces.
This Hobby Master model faithfully recreates 22+02 with accurate panel engraving, a detailed cockpit with pilot figure, optional weapons loadout, and the signature shark-nose artwork—highlighting the aircraft’s unique place in aviation history.
