The GINN High Maneuver Type is a mobile suit introduced in the original design series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED MSV.

The GINN High Maneuver Type, a variant of the ZGMF-1017 GINN utilized by ZAFT in the First Alliance-PLANT War, played a pivotal role in various battles. Rau Le Creuset piloted one in the Battle of Endymion Crater, engaging Mu La Flaga and his TS-MA2mod.00 Moebius Zero. Another ZAFT ace, Mikhail Coast, operated two GINN High Maneuver Types, the first of which was captured by Serpent Tail after falling into a trap. Subsequently, Mikhail acquired a replacement unit and participated in conflicts like the Battle of Boaz, facing Morgan Chevalier’s GAT-01A1+AQM/E-X04 Gunbarrel Dagger. Additionally, the war saw the development of a superior variant, the ZGMF-1017M2 GINN High Maneuver Type II, known for enhanced close combat capabilities compared to its predecessor.
