Product description : HH-53C super jolly green giant

The HH-53C Jolly Green was developed by Sikorsky as a variant of the CH-53 Sea Stallion heavy helicopter. It entered service with the US Air Force in the late 1960s. It was designed to perform highly effective CSAR (Search and Rescue) missions in combat zones. Compared to the previous version, it featured an in-flight refueling probe, additional fuel tanks, reinforced armor, and the capability to be fitted with additional defensive armament. Particular attention was paid to improving the radio systems, which were needed to coordinate operational activities with other support aircraft, such as tankers or attack and support helicopters, necessary for safely searching for downed or missing pilots. Rugged, reliable, and with a long range, it saw extensive use during the Vietnam War. New decals included.
