The 2CV was presented to the public for the first time in 1948. With this small purist car, inexpensive, easy to maintain and easy to use, Citroën offers a robust production vehicle for the people, equipped with very good suspension in line with the poorly developed road network. The 1:24 scale is mainly used for models of cars, motorcycles and aircraft. It allows a high level of detail. For example, a motorcycle model in the 1:24 scale will measure 4 inches / 10.4 cm if the original motorcycle measures 2.5m in length (250/24 = 10.41). A plane in the 1:24 scale will measure 1 foot 6 inches / 45cm in length if the aircraft model is 11m long (1100-1124 = 45.8).
