Bugatti Type 41 Royale Coupé Napoléon model kit to assemble and paint. Model size: 24.5 cm. The Type 41 Royale is considered one of the most prestigious and luxurious cars of all time in the automotive world. It was handcrafted by the Bugatti car manufacturer in only six examples from 1929 to 1933. With its imposing and monumental dimensions, it was equipped with one of the largest car engines ever built, with a displacement of over 12,000 cc. Ettore Bugatti’s idea was indeed to create a car so prestigious that it would only be sold to a very select circle of potential customers, including the ruling houses of the time. The six Type 41s produced had the same chassis and engine but differed in their body configuration. Of the six Royale cars produced, the Coupé Napoléon was the first in terms of chassis. It was characterized by the elegance of its two-tone black and blue bodywork and its exquisitely refined velvet interior. It was Ettore Bugatti’s personal car for many years and can be considered an icon of global automotive production.
