Its silhouette surprised France in 1948. The 2CV fulfilled the wishes of the director of Citroën who wanted “4 wheels under an umbrella” and that this “car, loaded with eggs, could cross a field… without breaking a single one”.
Which it did in front of the cameras! Due to its success, the delivery time reaches 6 years in 1950. It evolves by keeping its particular line until the 90s.

The 1:43 scale is mainly used for automotive miniatures (cars, trucks, fire, etc.).
A car in the 1:43 will be 43 times smaller than the actual car.
If the car is 4 m long, for example, the miniature will measure 4 inches / 9.3 cm long (400/43 = 9.3).
The 1/43 scale miniatures are approximately 1,5 inches / 4 cm in length.
