During World War IICase produced more than 1,3 million howitzer shells,200 sets ofbomber aircraft wings, and20000 specialized war tractors and engines. From 1941 to 1945 the factorybuilt over 15000 special militarytractors in roughly 40 variants, and over 4000 tractor engines for the U.S. Army and the Allies.

One of the usual setupswas a tractor (commonly SI and VAI models)upgraded with the Hough Payloader assembly. Simple and effective combination to handle all smaller loads in army service.
